Amrita Vidyalaya, Mananthavady celebrated National Reading Day 0n 19 June 2025  

on June 19th, in memory of the father of the Library Movement in Kerala, P.N. Panicker. The celebration aimed to inspire young minds to develop the joyful habit of reading and explore the magical world of books. The day began with a special assembly highlighting the importance of reading in shaping minds and character. Various reading-related activities were organized across all grades: 

• Students participated in book reviews, storytelling sessions, and reading aloud activities. 
• An exhibition of favourite books was arranged, where students shared their most-loved reads with their peers. 
• Kindergarten students enjoyed a lively picture book session and listened to interactive stories narrated by their teachers.
