World Ozone Day was observed in our school on 16th September 2025 to create awareness among students about the importance of the ozone layer and the need to protect it for a healthy environment. The program aimed at educating students on how human actions can directly affect nature and the balance of life on Earth.

As part of the celebrations, a Poster Competition was conducted for students of classes 6, 7, and 8. The theme “Save Ozone, Save Earth” was announced on the spot, and students enthusiastically created colorful and informative posters. Their work highlighted the causes of ozone depletion, its harmful effects on living beings, and the different ways to prevent it. The competition encouraged creativity, awareness, and teamwork among the participants.

The event was a great success as it helped students understand why the ozone layer is important and how it protects us from harmful rays. They also learned how pollution and harmful chemicals damage the ozone layer and realized the need to protect the environment by saving energy and reducing pollution. The celebration instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards nature.
