Amrita Vidyalayam, Kodungallur celebrated World Bicycle Day 2026 with a bicycle maintenance workshop for Class IX students led by local mechanic Mr. P. K. Manikuttan. Students gained hands-on experience in basic bicycle repair and maintenance while understanding the practical application of physics concepts such as friction and simple machines. The workshop promoted life skills, respect for the dignity of labour, and the importance of using bicycles as an eco-friendly and sustainable mode of transport.
