Amrita Vidyalayam, Palakkad celebrated National Youth Day with great enthusiasm and reverence, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the eternal symbol of youth, strength, wisdom, and self-confidence. The campus resonated with patriotic and spiritual fervour as students came dressed as Swami Vivekananda, beautifully reflecting his iconic attire and noble personality. Their confident appearance and radiant expressions brought the great visionary’s presence alive, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and admiration.
As part of the celebration, various competitions and activities were conducted to engage students meaningfully. A poster-making competition provided a platform for children to creatively express Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts and messages. The posters depicted powerful quotes, vibrant illustrations, and themes highlighting youth empowerment, character building, and service to the nation.
Students also participated in speech presentations, where they eloquently spoke about Swami Vivekananda’s life, teachings, and relevance in today’s world. The speeches reflected deep understanding, confidence, and clarity of thought, motivating everyone present to follow the path of righteousness, courage, and self-discipline.
The Youth Day celebration served as a reminder that today’s children are the torchbearers of tomorrow’s society.
