Amrita vidyalayam Thalassery commemorated World Refugee Day on June 20, 2025, with the theme “Hope Away From Home”, shedding light on the struggles and resilience of millions of displaced people worldwide.
The event featured a heartfelt speech by students that emphasized the courage, strength, and determination of refugees across the globe. Students brought the theme to life with a digital painting competition, portraying stories of hope, survival, and dreams through vivid digital art. A poster-making activity was also conducted, where students creatively expressed their empathy and support for refugees through thought-provoking slogans and artwork.
