On November 28, 2024, our Kindergarten students celebrated Black & White Day with immense enthusiasm and excitement. The event aimed to foster creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among our young learners.
Both students and teachers dressed in black and white attire, creating a visually striking atmosphere. Children brought various black-and-white objects, such as toys and pictures, adding to the charm of the day.
The celebrations included engaging activities like black-and-white art projects, such as hand printing, collage making, and drawing and colouring animals like pandas, zebras, penguins, and ducks. The children also enjoyed watching black-and-white videos, which added an element of fun and learning to the event.
The Black & White Day celebration was a resounding success, and our little ones had a fantastic time participating in the activities.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed Chingam 1 as Karshaka Dinam with great respect and gratitude toward the farming community. This day holds special significance in Kerala as it marks the beginning of the Malayalam month Chingam, symbolizing prosperity, new beginnings, and the onset of the harvest season.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed Ramayana Month with great devotion and enthusiasm, providing students with an opportunity to imbibe the timeless values and teachings of the epic. The month-long observance included daily Ramayanam Parayanam and Vyakyanam, offering spiritual insights and a deeper understanding of the Ramayana. A dress-up activity brought the characters of the Ramayana to life, as students creatively portrayed various roles. To further encourage active learning, a Ramayanam quiz was conducted in an engaging manner. The celebration concluded with a grand Patabhishekham ceremony of Lord Rama, followed by the reading of the Bhalasruti. The entire observance proved to be a spiritually enriching and culturally enlightening experience, nurturing devotion, moral values, and respect for India’s rich cultural heritage among the students.
