Our school celebrated Marathi Bhasha Gaurav Din with great enthusiasm to honour the birth anniversary of the renowned Marathi poet V. V. Shirwadkar, popularly known as Kusumagraj. A special school assembly was conducted in Marathi to mark this important day. During the assembly, Swara Mahajan from Std. VIII D spoke about the significance of the day and highlighted the importance of the Marathi language and literature.
The celebration continued with a lively “Granth Dindi”, in which around 20 to 25 students from Std. V and VI participated. The students proudly carried books and promoted the value of reading Marathi literature. After that, students from Std. VII and VIII presented beautiful Marathi poem recitations, showcasing their love for the language. The programme helped students understand the richness of Marathi language and culture and inspired them to respect and preserve their mother tongue.
