Amrita Vidyalaya Mananthavady celebrated National Doctors’ Day with great reverence and gratitude on July 1st, 2025 recognizing the tireless service and dedication of doctors who serve humanity selflessly. The event aimed to express heartfelt appreciation to the medical fraternity and to inspire students to value health and those who protect it.

The program began with a serene prayer, followed by a welcome speech by a student representative, highlighting the importance of the day and remembering the legendary Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, in whose honour the day is observed. The school had invited the aluminise of the Vidyalaya as the guest of honour, who addressed the students, sharing insights into the medical profession and encouraging young minds to develop compassion and a sense of service. The doctor was felicitated with a ponnada and a memento of gratitude from the school.

The Vice Principal, in her address, emphasized the importance of valuing doctors and encouraged students to adopt healthy habits and lifestyles. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by the students to respect and support the medical community.
