Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd every year, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Students of grades I and IV celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and contributed their efforts in spreading the awareness by helping their parents in cleaning the homes and their surroundings and by sending their photos of cleaning activities to their respective class teachers. As a part of Gandhi Jayanti celebration a bulletin board presentation was done by students which showcased Mahatma Gandhiji's life history.

Cleanliness is something that must not be forced but encouraged. The main purpose of this programme was to create awareness among the students regarding cleanliness and its benefits.
