Gandhi Jayanti, celebrated on October 2nd, marks the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. It honours his principles of non-violence, truth, and social reform. As part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations, Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, organized Cleanliness Drive to promote the values of cleanliness and social responsibility inspired by Mahatma Gandhi. Both students and teachers actively participated in cleaning the school premises, raising awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy environment. This initiative encouraged students to embody Gandhiji’s vision that “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” and fostered a sense of collective responsibility toward their surroundings.
