The sacred occasion of Guru Poornima was celebrated with deep devotion and reverence at Amrita Vidyalayam, Mananthavady on July 2025. The celebration brought together students, parents, and teachers to honour and express gratitude towards all who guide us in life, especially our parents and spiritual mentors.The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by soulful prayer songs and slokas. Presence of Sri Deekshitamrita Chaitnya, Mathathipati Mata Amritanadamayi Math, Mananathavady make the occasion more divine. Sri Poojitamrita Chaitanya, Principal Amrita Vidyalaya mananthavady in her message    emphasised role of the Guru in shaping one's life and character.

A moving moment during the event was when students humbly washed the feet of their parents, symbolizing deep respect, gratitude, and the recognition of parents as the first Gurus in one’s life. This touching ritual created an emotional atmosphere and strengthened the bond between children and parents.

The celebration concluded with prasadam distribution, leaving everyone with a sense of spiritual joy and unity. The event truly reflected the spirit of Guru Poornima and left a lasting impression on all who attended the ceremony.
