Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, observed Gurupoornima with deep devotion and spiritual fervour. The celebrations began with a serene prayer and lighting of the inaugural lamp, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance. A warm welcome was extended by Soniya Ma, followed by an enlightening satsang by Br. Viswapriyamritaji. The sacred Gurupaaduka Pooja and Sanskriti Pooja offered students a chance to express heartfelt gratitude to their gurus and parents. The hall echoed with divine bhajans, and the event culminated in Prasad distribution, where parents and students offered their respects and dakshina at Amma’s altar. The celebration beautifully upheld the eternal spirit of “Matha, Pitha, Guru, Daivam”.
