Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, celebrated its annual Sports Day for the academic year 2024-25 with great enthusiasm and vigour on October 24 and 25. The event kicked off with a vibrant inaugural ceremony featuring the hoisting of the sports flag, followed by a spectacular march past of the four houses - Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi. The Sports Torch was respectfully Flame of True Spirit was ignited, symbolising the passion and dedication of all participants. House captains led the oath-taking ceremony, reaffirming their commitment to sportsmanship. Sreedev Nair of XII Science, the school prefect, delivered an inspiring speech that resonated with the true essence of the event.
