Amrita Vidyalayam, Trichy, proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with immense joy, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervor. The celebration began with the hoisting of the Tiranga by our esteemed Chief Guest, Captain R. Irudhayasamy (Retd.), Assistant Recruiting Officer, BRO, Pitherkard, followed by the National Anthem that filled every heart with pride.

The Chief Guest inspired everyone by sharing his childhood experiences of witnessing the spirit of India’s Independence, leaving a lasting impression on students and parents alike. The cultural programs added vibrance to the celebration, with a graceful classical dance performance by our primary students and an energetic folk dance performance by our middle school students, along with soulful patriotic songs and speeches.

The event served as a heartfelt reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave freedom fighters and reinforced our duty as responsible citizens to contribute towards building a stronger, united, and progressive India.
