Amrita Vidyalayam, Vatakara celebrated India’s  Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Amrita Vidyalayam, Vatakara. The day began with the flag hoisting ceremony, gracefully led by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Shaji Kedaram, Retired Sub-Inspector of the Narcotics Department . His presence added immense pride and inspiration to the occasion. Following the flag hoisting, students and staff joined in singing the National Anthem with heartfelt pride 

A quiz competition was then held for all categories, testing students’ knowledge about India’s freedom struggle, national leaders, and historical milestones—fostering a deep connection with our rich heritage.

The celebration was further elevated by vibrant cultural performances, including:
Soul-stirring patriotic songs
Graceful patriotic dances
A creative Tableau competition showcasing key events in India’s journey to independence
An inspiring human pyramid display, symbolizing unity and strength

The atmosphere was charged with energy, national pride, and joy. Students showcased not only their talents but also their deep respect and love for the nation. ️
