"Leadership is not about a title or a designation. It’s about impact, influence, and inspiration." – Robin Sharma
With great pride and solemnity, Amrita Vidyalayam Tanur conducted its Investiture Ceremony 2025, a significant occasion where responsibility met leadership, and the torch of trust was passed into the hands of our deserving student leaders.
The ceremony began with the symbolic march-past, where the newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, Club Leaders, and Teachers-in-Charge stepped forward with determination in their stride and purpose in their hearts. Clad in sashes of honor, they represented the voice and spirit of the student body.
They took the Oath of Responsibility, promising to lead by example, uphold school values, and work tirelessly for the betterment of their peers. With heads held high, they vowed to foster teamwork, encourage discipline, and inspire excellence in every action.
“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” – John C. Maxwell
Our Head Boy and Head Girl pledged to serve as the pillars of unity and discipline. As role models, they accepted the challenge of being the bridge between the student community and the administration, ensuring harmony and proactive engagement.
The leaders of the four Houses—Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, Jyothirmayi—took charge of nurturing team spirit, igniting healthy competition, and upholding house pride through every scholastic and co-scholastic endeavour.
“Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader… They set out to make a difference.”
From Environment to Literary, Cultural to Health & Wellness, club leaders were entrusted with the task of channeling creativity, innovation, and awareness among students. These young minds are now the drivers of positive change in various spheres of school life.
Guiding the leaders at every step are the Teachers-in-Charge, mentors who will nurture their leadership, ensure direction, and empower them to lead with empathy and fairness.
The event was a celebration of courage, commitment, and capability. It wasn’t just about wearing badges and sashes—it was about earning trust and shouldering duties with dignity.
“Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.” – Warren Bennis
As the echoes of the oath filled the hall, it marked the beginning of a journey—a journey of leading with humility, serving with sincerity, and growing with grace.
Congratulations to all our young leaders. The school believes in you, stands by you, and looks forward to a glorious year of collaborative success.
