Our kindergarten students at Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, enthusiastically participated in the Vegetable and Fruit Market Activity—a fun and educational experience designed to enhance experiential learning. The children actively engaged in role-playing as shopkeepers and customers, which helped them develop essential social and communication skills.The vibrant market setup, arranged with a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables, allowed the children to engage in hands-on learning. They practiced counting, weighing, and handling play money, which reinforced their early math concepts in a joyful and interactive way.A delightful highlight of the activity was preparing a fresh fruit salad using the fruits the children had. This collaborative task encouraged teamwork, creativity, and healthy eating habits. The joy on their faces as they enjoyed the fruit salad made the day truly special.Overall, the activity provided an excellent blend of fun and learning, offering our young learners a meaningful opportunity to explore, interact, and grow.
