The Samkrithi Pooja was conducted in our school with deep reverence and devotion. The ceremony commenced with the Padukam of Amma being carried to the main hall with utmost respect by the School Leader, in the presence of the Principal, Academic Advisor, and senior-most teachers.
A sacred Guru Paduka Pooja was then performed by the Principal, symbolizing deep respect and gratitude towards those who guide us on the path of knowledge and righteousness.
In her address, the Principal Ma’am highlighted the importance of Samkrithi Pooja, emphasizing how such practices connect us to our cultural roots and foster humility and gratitude in young minds. She spoke about the unique bond between a mother and her child.
The most touching and emotional part of the event was the Pada Pooja, where students paid homage to their mothers by gently applying chandan and kumkum, offering garlands, and performing aarti.
This was followed by an affectionate exchange of sweets between students and their mothers, symbolizing the mutual love and respect between them.
Finally, prasadam was distributed by the Principal and Academic Advisor, while soulful devotional songs played in the background, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The Gurupoornima Celebration was held on July 10. The significance of this auspicious day was beautifully conveyed by Anitha Ma’am, who enlightened the students on the eternal value of the Guru in one’s life. The entire school participated in chanting the Ashtothram, and a special archana was conducted by the teachers. Homemade prasadam, prepared with love and devotion, was offered along with an aarti to honor the Guru parampara. The event concluded with the chanting of "Lokāḥ Samastāḥ Sukhino Bhavantu", spreading vibrations of peace and universal well-being.
