The sacred festival of Navaratri and the 72nd birthday of our beloved Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) were celebrated with great devotion and joy at Amrita Vidyalayam, Tenkasi. The celebration began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by our esteemed Chief Guest Shri. S. Vivekkumar, BJP District President, Yuva Morcha, Tenkasi District, along with Sri. R. Mahendran, Youth Wing Secretary, Achanputhur, Mr. M. Mariappan Thangaraj, Dr. Saranya, and Shri. Muralidharan Sir, Educational Officer, Amrita Vidyalayam, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, in the presence of our respected Principal Shri. Bala Vel Murugan and beloved Manager Smt. Viji Balachandran, invoking Amma’s divine blessings.

The program continued with a soulful prayer song, followed by a warm welcome address by Smt. Sasi Ma’am. The atmosphere was filled with devotion during Amma’s Ashtothram and a series of vibrant cultural performances. Students presented graceful classical dances and melodious bhajans, while the Kindergarten children offered a sweet Krishna bhajan that captivated everyone. Master Srijith of Class II displayed his musical talent through a delightful keyboard performance. Teachers too joined in devotion with soulful bhajans, creating a divine ambience throughout.

Inspiring speeches by Mrs. Vigneswari, Principal Shri. Bala Vel Murugan Sir, Manager Smt. Viji Balachandran, and the Chief Guest highlighted Amma’s message of love, compassion, and selfless service.

The celebration concluded with the chanting of the Shanthi Mantra, filling every heart with peace, positivity, and Amma’s divine grace.
