Amrita Vidyalayam Thalassery observed World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and commitment to a greener tomorrow. Students actively participated by planting saplings within the school premises, reinforcing the importance of environmental responsibility.

The celebration began with a special assembly, where our respected Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and emphasized the vital role each individual plays in protecting the planet.

Students delivered thoughtful speeches that spread awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of sustainable living. A highlight of the day was the motivational talk by our esteemed guest, Govindan Sir, who elaborated on this year’s Environment Day theme and inspired students to adopt eco-friendly practices.

As a meaningful gesture, saplings were planted around the school campus, symbolizing the students’ commitment to nature. The school also distributed saplings to encourage the habit of growing and nurturing plants at home.
