Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam, celebrated Kisan Divas by taking our students on an insightful visit to a farm and a coastal village, where they participated in an aquaculture programme.
Human Rights Day was observed at our school to create awareness about the importance of human rights.
The Annual Day Celebrations of Amrita Vidyalayam, Kuthuparamba for the academic year 2025–26 were held on 15th December 2025.
The Gita Chanting Challenge was conducted with active participation from students. They learnt and chanted selected Bhagavad Gita slokas along with their meanings.

The event featured soulful bhajans, lively competitions, and heartfelt gestures such as students performing padha pooja for their parents. Fire safety mock drill was conducted on 10th July 2024 for students and staff. Participants learned various fire extinguishing techniques, cylinder handling, and the science behind fire safety tools.

Delhi NCF – An interaction program for Principals on National Curriculum Framework was conducted at Delhi on 25th June 2024. Only 2 schools from Chennai received the invite from CBSE for the interaction programme. We were 1 among the 2 schools invited from Chennai.
14 of our talented students participated in the Young Scientist India program at Raj Bhavan, and among those 4 students secured a top 20 position. Reshidar, one of our students won a cash prize and trophy in the special category for his "EYE COVERING" project.
A webinar on Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) was conducted by IIT Madras for students og grade XI and XII on 4th March 2024. On June 2024 – Our students V. Vinubrice and A. Kavin were selected among 12 teams out of 400 applications pan India in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP) and presented their project at IIT Madras.
Our talented students N. THARUNMAYAV, A. ARUNPRASATH, & R. KANISHK participated in the *Innova TN 2024 - State Level Competition* (Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry), organized by the Atal Innovation Mission. We are thrilled to announce that they secured the 2nd place, along with a cash prize of Rs. 15,000/-
Amrita Vidyalayam, Chennai has been putting sincere efforts to imbibe scientific temperament, nurture creativity and innovation among the young dynamic minds and with the same motivation, we have established Atal Tinkering Laboratories (ATL) in our school, ATL is a mega project by the Government of India under the prestigious NITI Aayog and Atal Innovation Mission (AIM).
