The Annual Day Celebrations of Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam, were held on Saturday, 6th December 2025, at 2.00 p.m., in the gracious presence of Sampoojya Swami Poornamritanandapuri, General Secretary of Mata Amritanandamayi Math, and the Chief Guest Dr K. S. Radhakrishnan, eminent scholar, writer, philosopher, and politician. The programme was attended by parents, teachers, and students.

The Christmas celebration was held on 23 December 2025 with great joy and enthusiasm. Santa Claus danced with the children and delivered a cheerful Christmas message. Our Academic Coordinator also delivered a meaningful Christmas message.

Amrita Vidyalayam Puthiyakavu ushered in the spiritually vibrant month of Karkkidakam with a solemn morning assembly marked by the lighting of the auspicious lamp and the melodious chanting of the Ramayana. The divine verses resonated through the campus, invoking blessings and emphasising the timeless values of truth, devotion, and righteousness. As part of the celebration, students from KG to Class VI, dressed as iconic Ramayana characters, brought the epic alive with their adorable presence, setting a reverent and joyous tone for the month dedicated to the sacred scripture.

The Investiture Ceremony 2025 at Amrita Vidyalayam was a grand occasion that celebrated leadership and commitment. Captains and Vice Captains of the various clubs were formally introduced, along with their respective in-charge teachers who will guide them through the academic year. This was followed by the announcement of the Captains and Vice Captains of the four school houses — Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi — as well as the House Mistresses and Vice Mistresses entrusted with mentoring them. The Head boy and head girl of the school were also named and sashed. It was indeed a glorious occasion as the naming ceremony unfolded amidst cheers, applause, and a strong spirit of responsibility and dedication.

There are some days that simply warm your heart—and the Kindergarten Reopening Day at Amrita Vidyalayam was one such beautiful day. After a quiet break, the school was once again filled with the sound of tiny feet, cheerful giggles, and bright little smiles. Sweet words from our little stars, Ramdev, Anwaya and Madhumalar was the highlight of the day . Their innocence touched every heart in the room. The morning also sparkled with a lovely dance by Anamaya and Aparna, bringing pure joy to all. With Amma’s blessings, we are ready for another year of wonder, learning, and love with our tiny tots. Welcome back, little ones—you were truly missed!

Environment Day was observed with great spirit and purpose at Amrita Vidyalayam, highlighting the vital need for conserving nature. In a symbolic gesture of hope and renewal, Principal Ma gifted saplings to students celebrating their birthdays, encouraging them to grow along with the plants they nurture. Students of Class XII took the lead in planting saplings in the school yard reinforcing their role as guardians of the environment. A thought-provoking skit was also presented, powerfully conveying the message of sustainable development and the urgent call to preserve Mother Earth for generations to come.

In a heartfelt moment of pride and togetherness, the morning assembly at Amrita Vidyalayam witnessed the warm felicitation of our beloved Principal, Swamini Sreecharanamrita Prana, who was recently honoured with the EGN Outstanding Leadership Award at the EGN India Education Leadership Summit held on 28 June 2025 at Le Meridien, Kochi. As a mark of reverence, the school prefect presented the traditional ponnada, and the award was symbolically presented once again by Academic Superior Anitha Ma in front of the entire school community. Principal Ma, in her humble address, thanked everyone and emphasised that the award was not a personal achievement but a reflection of the collective spirit, dedication, and values of the whole school. Her words—“It is the school that won this award”—echoed the essence of true leadership rooted in humility and shared vision.
At the EGN India Education Leadership Summit held on 28 June 2025 at Le Meridien, Kochi, Swamini Sreecharanamrita Prana, Principal of Amrita Vidyalayam, received the EGN Outstanding Leadership Award for her exceptional contributions to value-based and holistic education. With Amma’s grace guiding every moment, Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, reopened its doors to a new academic year filled with hope and energy. The day began with prayer and lamp lighting, symbolising the light of knowledge and compassion. A heartfelt welcome by Principal Ma set the tone, followed by the proud felicitation of our CBSE X and XII toppers and Scinquest winners. Class shuffling marked fresh beginnings, and moments of meditation and chanting helped centre the spirit. The day closed with students joyfully returning to their beloved class teachers—ready to learn, grow, and shine under Amma’s loving guidance.
The UKG reopening at Amrita Vidyalayam was a heartwarming blend of tradition and joy, marking a special beginning for our tiny tots. The little ones were welcomed with chandan, kumkum, and ārati, creating a sacred and cheerful atmosphere. Parents and children were lovingly guided to their new classrooms, where class teachers lit the lamp, warmly interacted with everyone, shared essential guidelines, and patiently addressed parental concerns. It was a memorable day that set the tone for a joyful and nurturing school year ahead.
