Amrita Vidyalayam, Puthiyakavu, celebrated a day of creativity and joy by organising an inspiring Art Workshop led by the renowned sculptor and painter Sir Abhilash Chitramoola, who holds a place in the India Book of Records and is the proud recipient of the Gandhi Bhavan Chitrakala Puraskhar. He has also conducted the State Youth Festival of Kerala and participated in several national and state-level art camps and exhibitions. Sir Abhilash, the Director of Chitrakala Peedam (School of Arts), guided students through hands-on artistic experiences—collage work for Grades 6 to 8, vegetable painting for Grade 5, and clay modelling for Grades 3 and 4. The day offered students a refreshing break from their usual routine, allowing them to express their imagination freely. They thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant, fun-filled activities that nurtured their creativity while giving them a welcome relief from their heavy school bags.
