Veer Bal Diwas was celebrated to honor the bravery of Guru Gobind Singh's sons. An AV show was organized to showcase his life history, inspiring students with the values of courage and sacrifice.
Students of Classes V, VI, and VII embarked on a field visit to the nearby Jasmine Garden in Thangachimadam to celebrate Kisan Diwas. The trip provided a unique opportunity for our students to interact with local farmers, gaining insights into their daily lives and the importance of agriculture in our community.
The 21 Amritam Practices were meaningfully inaugurated on June 2nd at Amrita Vidyalayam with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the awakening of compassion and selfless service. Among these noble practices, the initiative titled “A Handful of Grains, A Heart Full of Love” was introduced during the morning assembly. The entire staff of Amrita Vidyalayam participated with grace and devotion, setting a powerful example of giving and togetherness.
Our school faculty participated in an enriching training program led by Shri Showry Kuttappa , Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on ‘Reimagining Education’, with 19 staff members registering to gain valuable insights and perspectives to enhance our teaching practices.
Our school celebrated Mathematics Day in honor of the legendary Mathematician Shri Srinivasa Ramanujan. We conducted Math activities for KG kids and quiz competition for the students of Classes I to IX and XI .The winners were felicitated with prizes by the Principal.

Our kindergarten students celebrated Black and White Day on November 28, 2024, with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event aimed to foster creativity, self-expression, and teamwork among our young learners. Students and teachers dressed in black and white attire, creating a visually striking atmosphere. Children brought various black and white objects, such as toys and pictures. Students participated in black and white art projects, including hand printing, collage making, and drawing and colouring pandas, zebras, penguins, and ducks. They also watched black and white videos. The Black and white day celebrations were a huge success and our kids enjoyed a lot.

Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour at our school on 14 November 2024. The events aimed to promote unity, creativity and joy among our students. A small rally was held within the school premises where students carried colourful placards emphasising “Happy Children’s Day”. LKG and UKG students presented a vibrant group song about Chachaji, showcasing their harmonious voices and rhythmic movements. Five captivating dance performance were staged featuring students dressed in colourful costumes and utilising creative props. The Children’s Day celebrations were a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among students, teachers and parents.
