On July 1, 2024, the school observed Doctor's Day to honour Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
National Handloom Day is a celebration of India's rich and diverse handloom heritage. It highlights the importance of traditional weaving techniques and supports the skilled artisans who keep these practices alive.
The school's Investiture ceremony was a momentous and dignified occasion. We were deeply honored by the presence of Sri Nazim, Sub-Inspector of Police, who graciously inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the traditional lamp.
The benefits of reading are countless. Commemorating the sacrifices and contributions of P.N Panicker from June 19th to June 25th we observed reading week.During the week various programs, speeches in different languages, reading sessions, Quiz etc were conducted to improve the reading habit among children.
We observed Utkal Dibas in our school on 1st of April 2025, The function was inaugurated with chanting of the national song of odisha, followed by lightening of lamps. The chief guest of the function was Dr Gopal Krushna Dash, Educationist emphasised the need of odia education in the contemporary times. He also stressed the importance of discipline for the success of all the children. The function was attended by the students, staff and teachers of the school

On August 24, 2024, with utmost devotion and fervour, the students, teachers, and staff of Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Krishna Janmashtami. The assembly began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by our esteemed Principal.
On Saturday, August 24th, Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated Janmashtami with a vibrant Jhanki-Making activity for students of Classes 1 to 10.
