A day of achievement and success was celebrated on 2nd August 2024, honouring the School Toppers, A1 achievers and Subject Toppers of CBSE Board Examinations X and XII, 2023–24.
Gurupurnima was celebrated in our school on 2nd August 2024 with great pride, reverence and enthusiasm. The celebration was a profound and inspiring event, reinforcing the timeless bond with the "Guru". Children, parents and teachers took part in the pooja and devotional bhajans. International Tiger Day, observed on July 29 to raises global awareness about tiger conservation and the threats faced by these endangered animals. As a part of International Tiger Day celebration, a house-wise colouring competition was conducted for classes I & II and mask-making competition was conducted for classes V,VI and VII.
KG Reopening Day was held on June 6, 2024, with Mrs. Manju Ramachandran ( Rtd. Principal) as the guest.
Every year, on July 28, people around the world celebrate nature conservation as one of the greatest ways to care for and protect our planet. To create interest in agricultural activities, a plantation drive was organized in the school campus on 28th July 2024 for the students of class VIII.

AMRITA PRADARSHANAM: Our Vidyalayam successfully hosted Amrita Pradarshanam, a two-day General Expo 2024, on December 6th and 7th. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the creativity and innovation of our students. The school premises were transformed into a vibrant exhibition space, featuring over 800 meticulously prepared projects and models. The exhibits were carefully crafted by students from classes V to XII, demonstrating their skills and knowledge in various subjects.
India Post has conducted Philately Scholarship Scheme “ Deen Dayal Sparsh Yojana” for the year 2023-24. Our student B.Hirujith of Class 6 has participated and won a scholarship of Rs 6000 per annum.
Chinmaya Vidyalaya Virugambakkam organized their 6th Model United Nations on 8th and 9th August, 2024. Eleven students of class XI and XII participated and represented as delegates of various countries in committees like the UN Human Rights Commission, UN General Assembly, and Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
On the stunning morning of 16th July deserving young talents of Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary School, Nesapakkam were bestowed with the responsibility of leading the school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. With the beginning of the new academic session for the year 2024-2025, Sthana Arohana Utsav - the Investiture Ceremony was organized with great interest. Student leaders took the responsibility with zeal and enthusiasm.
Our students participated in the Chettinad Vidyashram Model United Nations (CVMUN) held from 5th to 7th July in R.A. Puram, Chennai. Representing countries such as Russia, Denmark, Ghana, Serbia, Luxembourg, Uzbekistan, Mozambique, and Burundi in various UN Committees, our students showcased exceptional diplomacy and debate skills. J.P. Prajo Doertan of Class XI received the High Commendation Award as the Delegate of Russia in the UNGA. His outstanding resolution on the South China Sea Conflict was ratified by 49 countries and is set to be sent to the United Nations in New York.
78th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated at our school with fervor. Dr. S. Subramania Pillai, Member – Syndicate, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University was the chief guest and motivated the students with his patriotic speech. Students showcased a vibrant performance of dance, speech, song and a skit to convey patriotism and national spirit. It was heartening to see children apply themselves with much zest and zeal.
We commemorated Gurupoornima with reverence and zeal, bringing together students and teachers for a day of spiritual reflection and engagement. The event featured soulful bhajans, lively competitions, and heartfelt gestures such as students performing padha pooja for their parents. In addition, our esteemed teachers paid tribute to Amma Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi through Paduka pooja, Manasa pooja, and participation in the bhajans
