The Chocolate Day celebration at Amrita Vidyalayam Vatakara on July -5 was a delightful and heartwarming event, filled with creativity, joy, and, of course, chocolate! The celebration saw enthusiastic participation from our young learners in Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG, each contributing to the sweetness of the day through imaginative and hands-on activities.
The event aimed to blend fun with learning by encouraging students to express their creativity while enjoying one of their favorite treats—chocolate. Classrooms were buzzing with excitement as students divided into their activities, guided by their ever-supportive teachers.
Pre-KG students engaged in chocolate bar craft work, carefully crafting adorable and colorful chocolate bars using paper, glitter, and other decorative materials. It was a joy to watch their little hands at work, their faces glowing with pride and happiness as they brought their chocolatey creations to life.
LKG students took their creativity a step further by decorating real chocolate bars using acrylic paints and embellishments. This activity helped refine their fine motor skills while allowing them to explore their artistic flair. The results were vibrant, unique, and a clear testament to the boundless imagination of our little artists.
The UKG students added a playful twist to the celebration by designing and wearing teddy bear masks, combining fun with creativity. The masks brought a cheerful and animated atmosphere to the event, as the children paraded around, giggling and enjoying their role-play sessions with their classmates.
The day concluded with happy faces, delicious treats, and a display of beautiful crafts that showcased the artistic talents and joyful spirit of our kindergarteners. It was a perfect blend of learning, play, and celebration—true to the essence of early childhood education at Amrita Vidyalayam Vatakara.
