To commemorate this special occasion, Amrita Vidyalayam organized a grand Teacher’s Day celebration on 11th September 2025. The entire event was planned and executed by the School Cabinet under the guidance of our Respected Principal.

The theme of Teacher's Day 2025 was"Inspiring the Next Generation of Learners". This theme brings into focus the enormous contribution of teachers not only towards academic learning but also towards motivating learners to follow their interests, be creative, and learning to be strong and confident. This is a testimony to how present-day teachers are mentors who guide students to succeed in a new world.

Our respected Principal addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude for the love and respect shown by the students. She also spoke about the evolving role of teachers in today’s world and encouraged both students and teachers to continue striving for excellence.

The students delivered speeches on the life and ideals of Dr. Radhakrishnan and highlighted the importance of teachers and their lasting impact on students’ lives. As a token of love and gratitude, handmade greeting cards were presented to all the teachers.

After the formal function, the mood shifted to celebration with a dance performance by the Teachers themselves to the music played by the students, featuring upbeat cinematic numbers and energetic moves. The performance was met with thunderous applause and heartfelt cheers, showing just how much the students enjoyed and admired their enthusiasm and talent.

It was heartwarming to see the usually serious and formal teachers letting their hair down and dancing with full enthusiasm and confidence. The students also joined them and it helped in creating a lively and joyful atmosphere that highlighted the strong bond between them.

There were a variety of fun-filled games organized for the Teachers that brought smiles and laughter to everyone present. The Teachers participated in the lemon and spoon race, displaying their sporting spirit, followed by the ever-popular musical chairs, which kept the student audience cheering throughout. A special highlight of the day was the hilarious bitter gourd eating challenge, which added a unique twist to the celebration. The entire event created an atmosphere of togetherness, fun, and appreciation for the teachers’ dedication and hard work.

As a tribute to their mentors, the students presented a melodious instrumental performance that filled the entire campus with harmony, and it was warmly appreciated by the teachers.

At the end of the day, the students were thrilled and deeply touched by the teachers' efforts to make the celebration interactive and joyful. It also showed the strong bond between students and teachers, making the event truly memorable.

The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind cherished memories and reinforcing the bond of respect, admiration, and affection between students and teachers.
