The tiny tots of Pre-KG, LKG, and UKG at Amrita Vidyalayam, Ottapalam celebrated Umbrella Day with great enthusiasm and colourful excitement. The day started with a lively umbrella drill, where children joyfully walked in lines holding their bright and beautiful umbrellas. The ground came alive with shades of pink, blue, yellow, and green, creating a truly delightful sight.

As the children marched in rhythm, their happiness was clearly visible. Teachers guided them with care, helping them enjoy the activity while learning coordination and teamwork. It was a fun way to introduce the little ones to the joy of group activities and outdoor celebrations.

The program continued with short speeches by selected students, who confidently spoke a few lines about umbrellas – their use, protection during rain, and how they bring colour to our lives.

To end the celebration on a musical note, all the children came together and sang a sweet rhyme on umbrellas. Their voices filled the air with joy, and their actions made the rhyme even more engaging. The entire event was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and creativity, leaving behind smiles and fond memories for children and teachers alike.
