An Inter House Microsoft PowerPoint Making and Presentation Competition were conducted in our school on Thursday, 11th July, 2024 as a part of World Population Day. Organised jointly by the departments of computer science and social science. The topic of the competition was “POPULATION EXPLOSION”. Each house was represented by a team comprising of 2 members from tenth standard, one student from each group was allowed for creating and presenting the PowerPoint. 

The teams were allotted 40 minutes to complete their presentation and 5 to 7 minutes for presenting it. Each presentation consisted of 6 to 12 slides. The competition created a positive vibe amongst the children. They were in great enthusiasm and high spirit to showcase their creation. The teams presented their work to the judges, Ms. Ambujakshiamma P K Head of Social Science department and Ms. Remya O Head of Computer department. They evaluated the presentation on the basis of content, subject analysis, usage of PowerPoint tools, Colour scheme, Font, background, conveyance of thoughts, time management, and conclusion and presentation skills of the students.
