World Radiography Day, celebrated annually on November 8, commemorates the discovery of X-rays by German physicist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895.
A presentation by Parameshwar Suresh of Class XI highlighted the crucial role of radiology in modern medicine, providing essential insights for diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions. Additionally, P.S. Amaniya, also from Class XI, delivered a speech during the morning assembly.
The celebration of World Radiography Day honours the radiographers and technologists worldwide who work behind the scenes to support patient care and safety. It also promotes awareness of advancements in medical technology, and encourages safe practices in radiology to protect both patients and healthcare workers from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Pathanamthitta, observed Ramayana Month with great devotion and enthusiasm, providing students with an opportunity to imbibe the timeless values and teachings of the epic. The month-long observance included daily Ramayanam Parayanam and Vyakyanam, offering spiritual insights and a deeper understanding of the Ramayana. A dress-up activity brought the characters of the Ramayana to life, as students creatively portrayed various roles. To further encourage active learning, a Ramayanam quiz was conducted in an engaging manner. The celebration concluded with a grand Patabhishekham ceremony of Lord Rama, followed by the reading of the Bhalasruti. The entire observance proved to be a spiritually enriching and culturally enlightening experience, nurturing devotion, moral values, and respect for India’s rich cultural heritage among the students.
