Our school organized an exciting sports competition in December 2024 for students from Nursery to Std. 4th. Various fun and energetic games like relay race, dodgeball, tug of war, and passing the ball were conducted, filling the atmosphere with enthusiasm. Students participated actively, showcasing their teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. The event was a wonderful opportunity for young learners to engage in physical activities and enjoy friendly competition. 

To honor their achievements, our respected Principal Madam awarded trophies to the winners and runners-up from each class. In Nursery, Section B won as a winner and A as a runner-up, while L.K.G. had A as the winner and C as the runner-up. In U.K.G., B secured first place, with A as the runner-up. For 1st Std., E emerged victorious, and A came second. In 2nd Std., B won, followed by A as the runner-up. The winners in 3rd Std. were from B, with A in second place. Lastly, in 4th Std., A won, while C was the runner-up. The team led by Basvaraj Karadi from Std. 8th and Mayank Warade from Std. 7th emerged as the winners, securing the first prize with their outstanding performance. During the assembly, our respected Principal Madam proudly handed over the trophy to the winners, appreciating their efforts and inspiring all students to continue their learning journey. A special health awareness workshop was organized at our institution in collaboration with Umang Wellness. The workshop aimed to educate participants on natural home remedies, disease prevention, and overall well-being. The session included Naadi Parikshan (pulse diagnosis), where healthcare professionals assessed the health conditions of individuals. Experts also conducted educational sessions on topics such as nutrition, yoga, body detox therapies, and solutions for common health issues like bone problems and diabetes. The interactive discussions provided valuable insights into maintaining a healthy lifestyle through traditional and holistic practices. 

The workshop was conducted exclusively for our teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring that they gained practical knowledge to improve their health and well-being. Participants were actively engaged in the sessions, learning how simple lifestyle changes could enhance their overall fitness and prevent diseases. The event was well-received, with staff members appreciating the initiative and expressing interest in adopting the suggested health practices. The session not only promoted physical well-being but also reinforced the importance of self-care in daily life. 

To make learning more exciting and practical, our school introduced an engaging Robotics and STEM experiential learning activity. In this hands-on program, students learned scientific concepts by building working models using DIY kits. They were first introduced to the basic fundamentals of robotics and were guided step-by-step to assemble different parts and create functional models. These models covered a wide range of topics from basic to advanced, blending science, technology, and engineering. The students not only enjoyed making these projects but also got to take them home, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.

Students from higher grades explored advanced concepts like programming and Artificial Intelligence (AI). They found coding activities like the “For” loop and “While” loop very helpful for their computer practicals. Many students shared that the sessions were fun, interactive, and easy to understand because the teachers explained everything in detail. Some even mentioned that they developed a new interest in robotics and were excited to demonstrate their projects at science exhibitions. Overall, this initiative sparked curiosity and innovation in students, making science learning truly joyful and meaningful.

The Indian Talent Olympiad had organized the Little Champ Olympiads in four exciting subjects – English, Maths, E.V.S., and Drawing – for our Nursery to U.K.G. students. Our tiny tots participated with great enthusiasm and showcased their talents in every subject. Their hard work and dedication bore sweet fruit as they made our school proud by winning a total of 179 medals, including 155 Gold, 17 Silver, and 7 Bronze. It was a moment of great joy and pride for the entire school. To celebrate their wonderful achievement, a special prize distribution ceremony was held during the school assembly. The proud parents of our little winners were invited to witness this memorable occasion. Our respected Principal personally handed over the medals to each child, filling the atmosphere with applause and happy smiles. The sparkling medals and beaming faces were a true reflection of their success. It was indeed a proud day for Amrita Vidyalayam!

The Sanskrit Bharati Paschim Maharashtra Pranth had organized a Sanskrit exam for students of Classes VI to IX. Our school proudly participated in this exam, and a total of 19 students appeared for the first-level test. Among them, 13 students performed exceptionally well and received distinction, 6 students were awarded first class, showcasing their strong grasp of the Sanskrit language. 

Our respected Principal Madam appreciated the efforts of the participants and personally handed over the certificates to the prize winners. It was a proud moment for the school, and the event served as a great encouragement for students to continue their journey of learning Sanskrit. 

Our school joyfully celebrated Ram Navami with great enthusiasm and devotion. The program began with our Principal Madam lighting the ceremonial lamp, marking the auspicious start. A beautiful and soulful Ram Bhajan was sung by our talented music teachers, Gopalakrishnan Sir and Nilesh Sir, filling the atmosphere with devotion. All the students participated wholeheartedly and offered their prayers to Lord Rama with deep faith and reverence, making the celebration truly memorable. 

On 2nd April 2025 enlightening session by Ashish Pillay focused on active decision-making and time management, essential skills for personal and academic success for students of Std X . He emphasized that conquering the fear of failure is key to making better decisions. Mistakes are a part of learning, and we should reframe our beliefs to see them as opportunities rather than setbacks. Through inspiring examples like Thomas Edison’s perseverance, we learned that determination and resilience help us overcome challenges. By focusing on what we can control, having a backup plan, and accepting change as a constant, we can develop confidence in our decision-making abilities. 

In addition, the session highlighted effective time management techniques, such as the SMART goal-setting method and the Pomodoro technique, which help structure time wisely. Managing time efficiently reduces stress and improves productivity. Mental well-being also plays a crucial role in maintaining a balanced life, and the speaker encouraged us to take care of ourselves, seek help when needed, and avoid overthinking. The key takeaway from this session was to trust the process, embrace failures as stepping stones to success, and cultivate a growth mindset for a brighter future. 

Our school conducted a Ramayana Quiz Competition on August 16, 2024, for students from Std. II to VII. The competition was filled with enthusiasm as students showcased their knowledge of the Ramayana. Students who excelled in the 1st level (class round) were selected for the final round held in December between two groups. . Among the participants, the II , IV and VII groups performed exceptionally well and secured the first prize. It was a proud moment for the winners as our respected Principal Madam presented the trophy to them during the school assembly.
