The Music Department of our school organized a wonderful one-day music workshop for Vocal, Harmonium, and Tabla on 11th April 2025. The workshop was conducted by our talented singing teacher Mrs. Shrutika Deshmukh and Harmonium teacher Mr. Prathamesh, along with Tabla teacher Mr. Yash Kamble from our school and Mrs. Shravani Puranik Amrita Vidyalayam, Hinjewadi branch. A total of 29 students from classes III to VIII participated with great enthusiasm. The workshop was held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and covered the basic concepts of music. Students were given written notes and were also taught important practice lessons for future improvement. The workshop was lively and informative, and everyone enjoyed and benefitted from the valuable training. It was truly a great experience for all the participants!
Amrita Vidyalayam Pune has once again excelled with a 100% pass percentage in the SSC March 2025 exams. A total of 250 students appeared for the exams, and every single student successfully passed, showcasing the school’s commitment to academic excellence.

To make learning more exciting and practical, our school introduced an engaging Robotics and STEM experiential learning activity. In this hands-on program, students learned scientific concepts by building working models using DIY kits. They were first introduced to the basic fundamentals of robotics and were guided step-by-step to assemble different parts and create functional models. These models covered a wide range of topics from basic to advanced, blending science, technology, and engineering. The students not only enjoyed making these projects but also got to take them home, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Students from higher grades explored advanced concepts like programming and Artificial Intelligence (AI). They found coding activities like the “For” loop and “While” loop very helpful for their computer practicals. Many students shared that the sessions were fun, interactive, and easy to understand because the teachers explained everything in detail. Some even mentioned that they developed a new interest in robotics and were excited to demonstrate their projects at science exhibitions. Overall, this initiative sparked curiosity and innovation in students, making science learning truly joyful and meaningful.
Our school received the Golden School Award at both the national and state levels for outstanding participation in the Indian Talent Olympiad (Little Champ Olympiad Exam 2024–25), with more than 150 students from the pre-primary section taking part. Our respected Principal Madam was awarded the Best Principal Award, cash prize and a watch. The Best Teacher Award was given to Varsha Charhate and Shweta Dixit, while the Inspiring Teacher Award was shared by Mughda Kodolikar, Lincy Shibu, and Vinodini Shinde. A special mention goes to Atharv Gadge from Std. V, who emerged as the State Topper in drawing, winning a gold medal, certificate, and a cash prize of ₹1000. More Abhang from Std. VI also received the Excellence Medal Award for his remarkable achievements.

IV was honoured with the prestigious Excellence Medal Award, receiving a gold medal and certificate for outstanding performance. Class toppers from various standards were also recognised—Atharva Jadhav (Std. I), Harsh Gadhve (Std. II), and Lavanya Aparajit (Std. X) received gold medals and certificates, while Yash Kumbhar (Std. VI) earned a silver medal and Ved Pawar (Std. VI) received a bronze medal. Their hard work and dedication truly set an example for all students.
To refresh and energize the teachers for the new academic year, our school organized a special workshop led by the inspiring Dr. Shaurya Kuttappa. The day began with the lighting of the lamp at the Lotus Feet of Amma, followed by a prayer song that set a serene tone for the sessions ahead. Our respected Principal welcomed the gathering with a heartfelt speech. The workshop was designed around Kolb’s Experiential Learning Cycle and the Johari Window model—tools that guided teachers through a journey of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal communication. Through engaging group discussions, storytelling, simulations, and self-reflective activities, the sessions encouraged participants to rediscover their strengths, understand their impact on others, and build more effective classroom relationships.
As the workshop coincided with World Environment Day, it concluded with a beautiful green gesture. A sapling was presented to Dr. Shaurya Kuttappa as a token of love and appreciation, acknowledging his insightful contribution. Some of our teachers also received saplings, symbolizing their role in nurturing not only young minds but also the environment. The entire day—from capturing expectations, reflective questioning, interpersonal skills building, to journaling learnings—was a perfect blend of heart and mind. It was indeed a memorable and meaningful beginning to the academic year, planting seeds of growth, empathy, and inspiration within every teacher.
On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a special yoga session was held in our school for students of classes V to IX. The event aimed to spread awareness about the ancient practice of yoga and its benefits for a healthy and peaceful life. The session began with an inspiring speech by Parthavi Ghadge of Std. IX, highlighting the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being. A yoga workshop was conducted by all the sports teachers, focusing on both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations. A warm-up session helped students prepare their bodies for various asanas.
Under proper guidance, students performed several yoga asanas like Tadasan, Vrikshasan , Vajrasan, Bhujangasan, and Shavasana, followed by Pranayam and Omkar chanting to bring inner peace and calm. The children participated with great enthusiasm and discipline. The event helped them understand how yoga can improve focus, strength, flexibility, and reduce stress.

As part of the nationwide initiative to protect children from Japanese Encephalitis (JE), our school actively participated in the JE Vaccination Campaign 2025 led by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). This campaign aims to prevent the spread of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES), which mainly affects children below 15 years of age. JE is a serious viral infection with a high fatality rate and long-term neurological complications. As per government guidelines, this preventive step is crucial to ensure the safety of students.
Following the instructions provided, our school organized an awareness session for parents to highlight the importance of the JE vaccine. All necessary arrangements were made in coordination with PCMC medical officers. The vaccination drive was successfully conducted on 17th April 2025 within our school premises. A total of 981 students from Nursery to X , aged between 3 and 15 years, were vaccinated on that day. Our staff and nodal teachers cooperated wholeheartedly to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the campaign. This initiative marked a significant step toward safeguarding the health of our children and the larger community.

To make learning more exciting and practical, our school introduced an engaging Robotics and STEM experiential learning activity. In this hands-on program, students learned scientific concepts by building working models using DIY kits. They were first introduced to the basic fundamentals of robotics and were guided step-by-step to assemble different parts and create functional models. These models covered a wide range of topics from basic to advanced, blending science, technology, and engineering. The students not only enjoyed making these projects but also got to take them home, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment.
Students from higher grades explored advanced concepts like programming and Artificial Intelligence (AI). They found coding activities like the “For” loop and “While” loop very helpful for their computer practicals. Many students shared that the sessions were fun, interactive, and easy to understand because the teachers explained everything in detail. Some even mentioned that they developed a new interest in robotics and were excited to demonstrate their projects at science exhibitions. Overall, this initiative sparked curiosity and innovation in students, making science learning truly joyful and meaningful.
