On 20st June 2025, Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur joyfully celebrated both International Yoga Day and World Music Day, honouring two powerful paths that nurture the body, mind, and soul. The twin celebrations created an inspiring atmosphere, reminding everyone of the harmony between discipline and creativity, silence and sound.
Amrita proudly celebrated World Environment Day 2025 on June 5th with a heartfelt initiative aimed at inspiring young minds to become caretakers of our planet. With the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution,” this year’s celebration focused on creating awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and the need for sustainable alternatives.
The reopening of school on June 5th brought smiles, laughter, and renewed energy as our primary students walked back into their second home after the vacation. The campus came alive with their cheerful voices and bright faces, filling every corner with joy. Teachers greeted the little ones with warm smiles, decorated classrooms, and welcoming activities that created a happy environment.
To mark the start of a prosperous academic year, on June 2nd our school solemnly performed a Ganapati Homam-a sacred Vedic ritual dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and harbinger of wisdom. The event began with the rhythmic chanting of mantras by learned priests, enveloping the campus in divine vibrations and serenity.
Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur, observed Guru Purnima with profound reverence, blending tradition with timeless values through a heart-touching celebration of Maatṛu Vandhana – Padha Pooja for Parents on July 4th. This spiritually uplifting occasion paid homage not only to the revered Guru Parampara but also to the mother and father – the child’s first and lifelong gurus.
