Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur, incepted in the year 2024 is located in one of the oldest towns in Tamil Nadu, spread over a sprawling 5.5 acres of campus. Our curriculum is based on the syllabus prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. We integrate an innovative Karadi Path methodology in the Timetable to improve English language proficiency through interactive sessions and learning techniques. The extracurricular activities include Silambam, Chess, Bharatham, Carom, Karate, Music, School band and dance. As envisaged by ‘Amma’, our institution is determined to chisel the students to become good citizens, who are matured enough morally, physically, spiritually and emotionally in future. Amrita Vidyalayam celebrated “Bal Vihar Diwas” - Kindergarten Graduation Day on 21st March, 2025. Tiny tots dressed up in nice attires and performed different activities like music, dance and skit, which was appreciated by all gathered. The most important part of the day- Graduation Ceremony started with the smart tiny tots of pre- primary dressed in graduation robes and caps walking the stage.
The Principal along with the Chief Guest felicitated the students with Certificate of Graduation. Children looked pretty in their graduation robes and caps. The programme ended with the vote of thanks by the, Smt. Gunapriya, Kindergarten Coordinator, Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day for not only the little ones but also a proud moment for the parents and the mentors as they witnessed their children receiving their KG Graduation Day Diploma’s from the guests.

Amrita Vidyalayam, Karur Celebrated our First Annual day on 12th April 2025 in our School ground. Our Annual day was the “Crowning Glory” of all the events of the year. Students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 5 participated in the annual day programmes. The Kindergarten blossoms amazed us by their sizzling performance, followed by the higher grade students who gave a spectacular performance, remarkably appreciated by one and all. It was really a bench mark for us!!
It was the most expected event of our Amrita Vidyalayam and it proved to be the best due to the untiring efforts and hard work of our students and staff.
Our School organized Children’s Chess Carnival at the school Amriteswaryai Hall on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The inaugural ceremony began with a prayer song invoking Amma’s blessings for the success of the tournament. The Chief referee of the event, Smt. Revathi Secretary, Vinayaka Chess Academy, Karur presented the rules and guidelines of the tournament, kick-starting the matches.
The best awaited moment for the valedictory where many contesters felt that they were placed in the centre of this chess carnival, awaiting for the final results to carry away the trophies and make their parents proud. All the participants had a smile on their face with increased self-confidence mastering new skills and willing to accept the challenges. Surely all of them proved that playing is their fundamental right.
