Amrita Vidyalayam Changanassery observed Anti-Drug Day on 26th June 2025 with a series of meaningful activities aimed at spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
The day began with a special assembly, during which students solemnly took an anti-drug pledge, vowing to abstain from drugs and to raise awareness among others about their harmful effects. This was followed by an informative speech by our Physical Education Teacher, Sri Arun Kumar, who addressed the serious consequences of drug abuse and emphasized the importance of making responsible life choices.
As part of the awareness campaign, students also participated in a poster-making activity, where they creatively expressed messages against drug use through art.
We believe that such initiatives will empower our students to make wise decisions and stay away from drugs, contributing to a healthier and more conscious society.
