On the occasion of World Bicycle Day, a Safety Workshop was organised for students of Grades VII to IX to promote safe and eco-friendly commuting. The session began with a PPT presentation introducing basic bicycle safety, followed by a video demonstration on repairing cycles and changing oil. To provide hands-on learning, a mechanic from a nearby workshop was invited to explain and demonstrate key maintenance skills such as fixing chains, inflating tires, checking brake responsiveness, and lubricating the chain. The activity helped students develop practical skills while reinforcing the importance of regular bicycle maintenance for safe commuting
