Amrita Vidyalayam, Ernakulam celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on August 15, 2025. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by our Principal, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The ceremony took place in the school courtyard, where students,Parents,teachers, and staff gathered to commemorate this significant occasion.

The Principal delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of Independence Day and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. Emphasizing the value of freedom, the Principal encouraged students to contribute positively to society and uphold the spirit of patriotism.

Students and teachers also delivered speeches, reflecting on the significance of independence and the role of individuals in nation-building. 

The event featured a range of patriotic performances, including Patriotic songs and Patriotic dance by students. 

Objective of Celebrating Independence Day in School

The objective of celebrating Independence Day in school is to foster patriotism and national pride among students. Commemorate the sacrifices of the freedom fighters. Encourage students to contribute positively to society, and also promote cultural awareness and appreciation

The event concluded with the Shanti mantram, and sweets were distributed to all students, adding to the festive atmosphere. The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of independence and the role of individuals in shaping the nation's future.
