The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity at Amrita Vidyalayam, Navi Mumbai. The programme commenced with the invocation of divine blessings and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the revered Swamiji. He addressed the students, inspiring them with his words of wisdom and guidance. The ceremony symbolized the formal transfer of responsibilities to the newly elected student leaders, emphasizing the importance of leadership, commitment, discipline, and service. The highlight of the event was the investiture of the Student Council members. Anand Gopakumar of Class IX C was appointed as the Head Boy, while Laxmi Singh of Class X A assumed the role of Head Girl. Sanchit Sinha and Malavika Nair were entrusted with the responsibilities of Junior Head Boy and Junior Head Girl respectively. Om Shashikant Surve and Vaibhavi Dattatray Jadhav were invested as Sports Boy and Sports Girl. The House Captains and Vice Captains of Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyotirmayi Houses were also formally badged in the presence of their respective House Mothers. The ceremony further included the badging of teachers in charge of various Amritam Projects, which promote values such as compassion, environmental consciousness, self-discipline, and social responsibility among students.
The newly elected student leaders, House Captains, and Vice Captains then took the oath of office, pledging to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication, and integrity. The oath-taking ceremony reinforced the ideals of responsible leadership and service to the Amrita Vidyalayam, Navi Mumbai community. An Academic Excellence Award segment was also held to recognize outstanding scholastic achievements. Students who excelled in various subjects and the school toppers of Classes X and XII were honoured for their remarkable performance. The event concluded with speeches by student leaders, House Captains, and House Mothers, who expressed their gratitude and shared their aspirations for the academic year ahead. The programme ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks acknowledging the support of Swamiji, the Principal, teachers, staff members, and students. The ceremony successfully instilled a sense of responsibility, confidence, and pride among the student leaders and marked the beginning of a promising and productive academic year at Amrita Vidyalayam, Navi Mumbai.
