On 8th August 2026, Amrita Vidyalayam joyfully celebrated Sanskriti Pooja, a beautiful occasion that highlights the importance of Indian culture, values, gratitude and the sacred bond between parents and children.
The programme was lovingly led by Brahmacharini Aradhana Amrita Chaitanya Amma, whose presence added spiritual significance to the celebration. The atmosphere was filled with devotion through soulful bhajans and captivating classical dance performances by our talented students.
The most meaningful part of the celebration was the enthusiastic participation of parents and students together. Students had the blessed opportunity to express their love, respect and gratitude towards their first gurus—their parents—by performing Pada Pooja. This beautiful tradition helped children understand the importance of respecting and honouring the parents who guide them with love and wisdom from the very beginning of life.
Parents participated wholeheartedly and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for providing such a meaningful platform that strengthened family bonds and helped children connect with the timeless values of our rich cultural heritage.
Sanskriti Pooja 2026 was truly a celebration of love, gratitude, devotion, culture and the sacred relationship between parents and children.
