The spirit of Onam came alive in all its splendour as the school community came together to celebrate Kerala’s beloved harvest festival with immense enthusiasm, joy and togetherness. The celebration beautifully reflected the rich cultural traditions of Kerala while bringing students, teachers and the entire school family together in the true spirit of oneness and harmony.

The programme began with a prayer, seeking blessings for a joyful and meaningful celebration. This was followed by a vibrant array of cultural programmes presented by both students and teachers. The melodious Onappaattu filled the atmosphere with the festive spirit of Onam, while the energetic presentation of Vallam Kali brought alive the excitement of Kerala’s traditional boat races.

The colourful and lively Pulikali added a unique charm to the celebration, capturing the traditional grandeur and playful spirit associated with Onam. The graceful movements of Thiruvathirakali presented by the participants added elegance and beauty to the programme, celebrating Kerala’s rich artistic heritage. The traditional Vadamvali added an element of excitement and team spirit, with participants cheering enthusiastically and enjoying the festive camaraderie.

The celebration became even more memorable with special fun games for teachers, aunts and uncles, creating moments of laughter, excitement and friendly competition. Their enthusiastic participation reminded everyone that the joy of Onam transcends age and brings people together as one family. Students and teachers alike participated wholeheartedly, making the occasion vibrant and unforgettable.

The Onam Sadhya was undoubtedly the grand highlight of the celebration. The sumptuous traditional feast, served with an array of authentic Kerala delicacies on banana leaves, brought everyone together around the dining table. More than a feast, the Sadhya symbolised the essence of Onam—sharing, unity, gratitude and abundance.

The celebration was a delightful blend of tradition, talent, laughter and togetherness, leaving everyone with cherished memories. It truly captured the message of Onam: when we celebrate together, every moment becomes more beautiful and every heart becomes one.
