Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary, Ramanathapuram, conducted its Investiture Ceremony – Sthanarohana Utsav 2026 on 29 July 2026 at Amriteshwari Hall. The ceremony marked the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council and provided an opportunity to instil the values of leadership, discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and service among the young leaders.

The programme was graced by Dr. V. Nirmal Kannan, Principal, Mohamed Sathak Engineering College, Kilakarai, as the Chief Guest, and Shri A. P. Prajil Prakash, Principal, Amrita Vidyalayam, Madurai, as the Guest of Honour.

In their inspiring addresses, the dignitaries encouraged the newly elected student leaders to lead by example, uphold the ideals and values of the school, and discharge their responsibilities with integrity, dedication, and commitment. They emphasized that true leadership is reflected not merely in authority or position, but in responsibility, service, and the ability to inspire others.

The newly elected Student Council members took the oath of office, pledging to carry out their duties with sincerity and commitment. The ceremonial presentation of badges and sashes marked their formal assumption of leadership responsibilities and symbolized their readiness to serve the school community.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks. The Investiture Ceremony served as an inspiring beginning to the Student Council's journey, motivating the young leaders to uphold the values of selfless service, teamwork, discipline, and excellence throughout the academic year.
