Amrita Vidyalayam Senior Secondary CBSE, Ramanathapuram, celebrated Guru Purnima 2026 with great devotion and reverence on 24 July 2026 at Amriteshwari Hall. The celebration was conducted in two sessions—KG & Primary from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and Secondary from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

The programme was graced by the presence of Br. Nikilesamrita Chaitanya, whose inspiring address highlighted the profound significance of the Guru in guiding individuals towards knowledge, wisdom, values, and self-realization. He encouraged the students to cultivate gratitude, humility, discipline, and deep respect for their teachers and parents.

The celebration featured devotional prayers, bhajans, cultural performances, and insightful talks highlighting the importance of the Guru–Shishya tradition in Indian culture. Through heartfelt performances and messages, the students expressed their gratitude and reverence towards their teachers, creating a spiritually uplifting and memorable atmosphere.

The programme concluded with prayers for the well-being of all and a renewed commitment to uphold the timeless values imparted by the Gurus. The celebration inspired students and staff to pursue the path of knowledge, service, discipline, and righteousness under the guidance of their teachers.
