Amrita Vidyalayam, Tenkasi, celebrated Krishna Jayanthi with great devotion and enthusiasm, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, the embodiment of love, wisdom, and joy.

The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Shri Sudalaiyandi, M.A., Deputy Tahsildar, Kadayanallur, and the Guest of Honour, Shri S. Prabu Seenivasan, B.E., Village Administrative Officer, Ayikudi, in the gracious presence of the Principal, Shri B. Balavel Murugan, and the Manager, Smt. Vijayalakshmi. The auspicious ceremony invoked divine blessings for the successful conduct of the celebration.

The event continued with a soulful prayer, followed by the welcome address and a series of vibrant cultural performances. The kindergarten students captivated the audience with their delightful Radha–Krishna Attire Show, while students from the various houses presented melodious Krishna songs and devotional bhajans. The teachers also rendered heartfelt bhajans, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere throughout the programme.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour inspired the students with their valuable messages, emphasizing the importance of devotion, cultural heritage, unity, and righteous living.

The programme concluded with the chanting of the Shanthi Mantra, leaving everyone with a sense of peace, joy, and the divine blessings of Lord Krishna. The celebration beautifully reflected the school's commitment to preserving India's rich cultural and spiritual traditions while nurturing values among the students.
