As part of Bag less day activities, Drama and Acting programme was successfully conducted to encourage students to showcase their artistic and creative abilities.
The programme began with a formal inauguration ceremony. The event was inaugurated by the respected Principal who lit the ceremonial lamp, symbolising the dispelling of ignorance and the spread of knowledge. This was followed by a brief welcome address, highlighting the importance of co-curricular activities in the overall development of students. Teachers and students were present in large numbers, making the occasion memorable.
After the inauguration, the activity session commenced. The drama performance portrayed meaningful social and educational themes such as moral values, discipline, unity, and social awareness. The students demonstrated excellent acting skills, dialogue delivery, coordination, and teamwork. Their expressive performances captured the attention of the audience and conveyed the message effectively.
Following the drama, students presented monoact related to student life, social issues, and ethical values. The participants displayed confidence, creativity, clarity of expression, and effective voice modulation. This session provided individual students a platform to express their thoughts and emotions independently.
The programme helped students to overcome stage fear, improve communication skills, and develop self-confidence. Teachers appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to participate actively in cultural and talent-based activities in future.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the principal, teachers, organisers, and students for their support and participation. Overall, the Drama and Acting Activity was a grand success and contributed significantly to the holistic development of students.
