On 30th June 2025, Amritavidyalayam Thalassery organized a Rabies Awareness Class led by Smt. Ashalethika G, Junior Public Health Nurse from PHC Kodiyeri.

The session focused on the causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment of rabies, especially in the case of dog bites. Students were taught how to respond immediately after a bite, the importance of vaccination, and general safety tips to avoid such incidents.

The interactive session helped raise awareness about this serious yet preventable disease, promoting health and safety among students. It was both informative and empowering.
