Amrita Vidyalayam, Ramanathapuram, celebrated its Secondary Annual Day, titled “Bharat Mahima,” on 21 February 2026 at 4:30 p.m. with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The event beautifully showcased the rich cultural heritage, diversity, and unity of India.
The programme was graced by Shri N. Nilaveshwaran, Judicial Magistrate, Ramanathapuram District Court, as the Chief Guest, and Smt. Naga Hema Muthukrishnan, Professional Veena Artist, as the Guest of Honour.
The celebration commenced with a prayer and the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the students and staff and emphasized the importance of discipline, values, and quality education in shaping responsible citizens.
The cultural programme featured a variety of vibrant performances, including dances and musical presentations, thoughtfully aligned with the theme “Bharat Mahima.” Through their performances, the students highlighted the cultural richness and unity of the nation, captivating the audience and earning widespread appreciation.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration was a grand success, leaving everyone inspired and proud of India’s glorious heritage and the talents of the young performers.
