Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and delight at Amrita Vidyalayam Edappally on November 14. The entire campus was filled with joy, excitement, and the vibrant energy of children eagerly looking forward to the special day.

The programme commenced with a soulful prayer, creating a serene and positive atmosphere. As part of the morning assembly, a meaningful Children’s Day speech was delivered by Teacher Anna Poorni, followed by an inspiring speech by student Hari Govind. Their heartfelt words added depth and significance to the celebration.

This was followed by a charming performance by a student dressed as Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, which brought a traditional touch to the event. The inaugural function was then conducted by a renowned film actor, whose presence added excitement and encouragement to the children.

After the inaugural ceremony, a series of entertaining programmes took place. These performances were thoughtfully planned and organised by the parents and children of the KG section, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and active involvement from both children and families.

Along with stage programmes, a variety of fun-filled games were organised for students from different classes across the school. These games, inspired by traditional and childhood activities, brought out the competitive spirit and joy of participation among the students. Laughter, cheer, and excitement filled the school grounds as the children enthusiastically took part in each activity.
