Amrita Vidyalayam came alive with devotion, color, and festivity as the school celebrated Sri Krishna Jayanthi, marking the auspicious birth of Lord Krishna. The atmosphere was filled with spiritual fervor as the Preparatory Stage children stepped into the roles of little Krishnas, radiating innocence and joy.

The program commenced with an Archana, invoking the blessings of Lord Krishna. The rhythmic chanting of mantras created a serene ambiance, and as part of the tradition, sacred porridge (prasadam) was lovingly prepared and distributed among all, symbolizing divine grace, togetherness, and the spirit of sharing.

One of the highlights of the day was the sight of the tiny tots dressed up as Krishna, complete with flutes, peacock feathers, and radiant smiles. Their graceful presence transformed the campus into a miniature Gokulam, bringing to life the playful and enchanting spirit of Lord Krishna.

Adding beauty to the occasion, the school’s Krishna Garden was decorated with vibrant flowers, radiating festive energy and devotion. The little ones offered fruits and flowers to their beloved Krishna, a gesture filled with innocence, love, and pure devotion. The garden shone with divine charm, symbolizing the bond between the children and the Lord.

The children also showcased their talents through dances, speeches, and cultural programs dedicated to Krishna. With twinkling eyes and innocent enthusiasm, they enacted stories from Krishna’s childhood, sang devotional songs, and performed dances that depicted his divine leelas. Each performance was met with thunderous applause and warm appreciation from the audience.
