Navratri, the festival of devotion and divine energy, was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Amrita Vidyalayam from Ghata Sthapana on 22nd September to 1st October 2025. On 1st October, as part of the grand conclusion of Navratri, students of Standard IX presented energetic performances of Garba and Dandiya. These traditional dances, with their graceful circular movements, symbolized the cycle of life and devotion to Goddess Durga. Garba involved rhythmic clapping, stepping, and twirling, while Dandiya used pairs of decorated sticks to mimic swords, representing the battle against negativity. Around 25 students from all four divisions of Standard IX participated enthusiastically, spreading joy and festive spirit across the campus. The celebration truly reflected devotion, unity, and the triumph of good over evil.
