Amrita Vidyalayam Thalassery celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15th August with great pride and patriotic zeal. The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag by Shri Dineshan B. M., Head Constable (Kerala Police), CISF – Indian Army, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, which filled the atmosphere with patriotic spirit.

The students presented inspiring speeches, patriotic songs, and cultural performances that beautifully reflected the values of freedom, unity, and sacrifice. The significance of Independence Day was highlighted, reminding everyone of the struggles of our freedom fighters and the responsibility we hold in building a strong and prosperous nation.

The programme concluded with the message that true freedom lies in living with values, discipline, and dedication towards the country. The entire celebration instilled a deep sense of pride and devotion to the motherland in every heart.
